The City of Miami Beach is hosting its annual Fire on the Fourth Festival from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the North Shore Park Bandshell at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue. There will be food trucks, live music and DJs. Grand Funk Railroad will take the stage at 7:30 P.M. to perform live. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Coconut Grove offers a unique Independence Day experience for the entire family. Peacock Park will open at 5 P.M. for kids to enjoy free art activities, balloon animals, food and music. The fireworks display will take place in Peacock Park at 9 P.M. Cocowalk will have its annual Hot Dog Eating Competition at 6:00 P.M. and the Barnacle Historic State Park will host an Old-Fashioned Picnic from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. Admission is $5 for this picnic.
