State Attorney’s Office Offering Community Services in Sweetwater

Sweetwater, FL – The office of Miami Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez-Rundle will be providing community services once a month at no cost to the general public.

A representative from the State Attorney’s Office will be at the Jorge Mas Canosa Youth Center, 250 SW 114 Ave, Miami, FL, on the first Monday of every month from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The services provided include:

  • Child Support Enforcement
  • Domestic Violence Services
  • ID Theft Prevention
  • Sealing or Expunging on Arrest Record
  • Victim Services
  • Case Follow-Up
  • General Questions
  • Bad Check Restitution

The announcement was made Monday night during the Sweetwater Commission meeting as Angie Fernandez from the State Attorney’s Office made an appearance before the commission to provide information on the new schedule. The services had previously been offered in the Sweetwater City Hall since at least 2013 as a way to engage with the community and help those needing assistance with legal matters.
